Here’s a snap shot of Charlie for illustration Friday’s topic- “snail”. Charlie was completely and utterly weighed down by his mum’s handmade snail costume but he smiled for the photo anyway. We can all relate to this. How many times in our lives have we done things for the sake of pleasing others? Speaking of snail, that’s how it feels sometimes getting a business off the ground, especially if it starts as being a labour of love on the side of a host of other obligations. But that’s OK. “Slow and steady wins the race” as they say. It is true, each and every time I have tried to force something-I feel as if I haven’t made any progress and in fact, it has set me even further back. So I made a decision a long time ago-to post once a week (minimum) no matter what and that slow and steady pace has kept me going in the long run to arrive where I am now. I’m starting to post a little more often now too! Perhaps in 5 years I have missed one or two posts! And I love it even more now because It has evolved with me. Check in again really soon because my zine is on its way from the printers and will be going up in my Etsy store in the next few days!
