I haven’t shared much, if anything from my home or personal stash of items. Having recently moved from a modern rental home to an original 60’s decorated home, I have found that family airlooms handed down from my grandparents suit quite nicely here. Over the years, I have invested in many items. However, the ones I hold dear are the ones that mean something. A few dolls from Japan,a pair of egg cups that belonged to my mother and Aunt. A painting of a beach scene by my Grandfather over 50 years ago, an arctic wolf skull given to me in the Shetland Isles and a collection of shells from beaches in France and Australia. The beautifully laid tiles in my shower recess- a 3-dimensional geometric pattern giving the illusion of movement and depth. All these things, are mere things but inspire me on a daily basis…
